How does Viking Airport parking work?

On arrival
When you arrive at the car park you will need to drive up the entrance barrier where your number plate will be scanned by the automated system. Once your number plate has been matched to your booking in the system the entrance barrier will rise and you can park your car in the drop-off lane. This is clearly signposted. You can then unload your luggage and make your way to the car park receptions where you can check-in and hand over your car key. As soon as you are all signed in head to one of the waiting shuttle buses to the airport. You will be dropped off directly outside the terminal building with just a short walk to the check-in desks.
While you are on your way to the airport your car will be parked in the secure section of the car park and only moved if necessary for the good management of the space.
On return
On your return you do not need to give Viking Parking a call, you can simply make your way to the spot where you were dropped off and catch one of the regular shuttles back to the car park. When you arrive head to the car park reception to pick-up your car key and sign your car out before heading to your waiting vehicle in the pick-up area outside. Drive to the barrier and it will lift allowing you to begin your journey home.
