Manchester Airport T2 Multi Storey Parking: How does it work?

Arrival

Follow the signs for T2 Multi Storey car park. Upon arrival at the entrance barrier, the barrier should automatically lift as a result of the automatic number plate recognition software (this is provided you have booked in advance). For any issues, you can buzz the 24 hour staff on the intercom.

Once you are inside, you can park your vehicle in a free space and unload your bags. From there it’s a short walk to the check-in.

Make sure to bring a copy of your booking confirmation with you on your day of travel.

Return

Upon your return from your travels, you can walk back to the car park to pick up your car. Simply drive to the exit barrier, and it should open automatically with the number plate recognition software.

Should there be any issues, you can speak with a member of staff via the button on the intercom.

If your plans changed and you ended up staying longer than originally intended, you can also pay the extra fees at the chip and pin machine at the barrier.

Large Vehicles

Vehicles are limited to a height of 2 metres (6ft 6in) at Manchester Airport Multi Storey T2.

When travelling on the M56, take the exit at Junction 5 and keep to the left side of the road, following signposting for Terminal 2.

Take the 3^rd exit at the first roundabout, once more following signs for Terminal 2.

At the second roundabout, take the second exit, bringing you onto Palma Avenue, following signs for T2 Multi Storey East. Keep in the right lane, and follow the road past the terminal building.

The road will bend to the left around the car park. The entrance to the Multi Storey will be on your left.

Really simple process. I'd definitely use this car park again
