How does Manchester Terminal 1 Multi Storey work?
Arrival
After you have made your booking, you can simply drive up to the entrance barrier of the car park.
The automatic number plate recognition system will recognize your number plate and open the barrier for you to drive in. Should you have any problems, you can buzz the intercom for help 24 hours a day.
Once you have entered the car park, pick out your parking spot, unload your bags and head over to Manchester Airport Terminal 1 when you are ready.
Return
Upon your return, it’s a simple procedure as well. You walk to your vehicle, and drive to the exit. The automatic number plate recognition system will once again do its job and the barrier should lift for you to exit.
If you have any issues, you can use the intercom to speak with a staff member. If you have outstanding fees from a late return, you can also pay them via the chip and pin device at the exit.
Large Vehicles
Vehicles are limited to a height of 2 metres (6ft 6in) at Manchester Terminal 1 Multi Storey Car Park. Additionally, trailers are not permitted in any of Manchester Airport’s official car parks.
