One of the most popular park & ride car parks near Manchester Airport, the Peter Ashley Car Park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Known for its excellent customer service, low rates, complimentary shuttle transfers, and top class security features, the car park is ideal for long-term stays.

Customers can take advantage of the free luxury minibus transfers which services Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3, as well as the live webcam feature which enables you to check on your vehicle at any point while you’re away.

The car park is Park Mark awarded, and protected by a range of advanced security features including security fencing, manned patrols, and flood lighting.

Drop-off

Drive to the car park and park your car in the drop-off zone or, depending on the service, park your car yourself.
Hop on the shuttle

Catch one of the regular shuttle buses to the airport terminal. Some buses also run on demand. Buses take between 5 and 15 minutes to reach the terminal.
On your return

Catch the bus at the terminal or nearby and you will be taken back to the car park.
Drive home

Collect your car at the pick-up zone and drive home.

On Arrival at the Car Park

Upon arrival at the Peter Ashley park and ride car park, you will be greeted by a member of their team who will help you with your luggage and direct you to the next available minibus. A trained and insured member of staff will then park your car for you, meaning that you will need to handover a set of your car keys. You’ll be driven directly to your departure terminal.

On Return to the Airport

On your return to Manchester Airport, the process of getting back to the car park is simple and straightforward. After you have cleared passport control and collected your luggage, you will need to call the car park to arrange for collection. You’ll find the phone number on your booking confirmation. A driver will meet you at the designated collection point, and assist you with your luggage. While this is happening, your car will be retrieved from the storage facility, so that it is ready for your return. Once you’re back at the Manchester Peter Ashley Park & Ride, your luggage will be unloaded from the shuttle bus and your car keys will be returned to you.

You will need to take a copy of your booking confirmation with you on your day of travel. This serves as your proof of purchase
There are no height restrictions at Peter Ashley Parking Manchester, but the car park kindly requests that you provide adequate notice if your vehicle is over 5.5 metres in length
Vehicles that are larger than a standard 5 seat family MPV will be subject to a £20.00 surcharge per booking, upon arrival. This includes, but is not limited to commercial vehicles, Ford Transits, Mercedes Sprinters, vans, minibuses, and caravans
For parties over the standard group size of 5, there will be a £3.00 surcharge per passenger applied, payable at the car park

Directions to the Peter Ashley Car Park Manchester Airport

Drivers should leave the M56 at junction 5 for Manchester Airport, and then continue straight onto Airport Spur. From there, keep left and continue towards Ringway Rd W/A555. Continue on the A555 Manchester Airport Relief Rd / Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road.

You will then need to take the Exit A555 on the left onto Styal Rd/B5166, and continue in the right-hand lane to the crossroads. From there, you will be able to see the sign for Peter Ashley Car Parks on your right. Next, turn right into Finney Lane, then right into Irvin Drive. Access to the Peter Ashley Car Parks can be found on your right-hand side.

Very impressed. Easy to drop the car off and the car to the airport was available straight away - even at 6 am! Coming back was not so good - but not Peter Ashley's fault! Building work at T2 meant a long walk to the pick up point and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be picked up. Otherwise, fabulous service and will use again.

Excellent service as always, very friendly staff and excellent service. On our return we waited no more than 2mins for a bus to get us back to our car, we will be booking again later in the year.

sat nav took us to the wrong address but spotted the sign over the road,easy friendly check in.had to wait about ten mins for minibus,could do with an outdoor shelter in bad weather.quick journey to airport.return journey had to wait about 15 mins in a hailstorm as first driver said he would come back after dropping at terminal 1.would use again only thing that ruined it was the weather
